My Favourite Desert~ Tiramisu

Tiramisu is one of the most popular Italian cakes. It is made of savoiardi known as lady finger biscuits dipped in espresso or strong coffee, layered with a whipped mixture of egg yolks, mascarpone, and sugar, and topped with cocoa. Tiramisu has become a very popular dessert. The recipe has been adapted into cakes, puddings, and other varieties of dessert.
There is some debate regarding tiramisu origin, as there is no documented mention of the dessert before 1983. In 1998, Fernando and Tina Raris similarly claimed that the dessert is a recent invention. They point out that while the recipes and histories of other layered desserts are very similar; the first documented mention of tiramisu in a published work appears in a Greek cookbook. Backing up this story, the authors recalled an article that tiramisu was created in 1971 in Treviso by Giuseppe Di Clemente. Merriam Webster's Online Dictionary gives 1982 as the year of origin.
Several sources claim that tiramisu was invented in Treviso at Le Beccherie restaurant by the god-daughter and apprentice of confectioner Roberto Linguanotto, Francesca Valori, whose maiden name was Tiramisu. It is believed that Linguanotto named the dish in honors of Francesca's culinary skill.
Other sources report the creation of the cake to have originated in the city of Siena. Some confectioners were said to have created it in honor of Cosimo III on the occasion of his visit to the city. Alternatively, accounts by Carminantonio Iannaccone as researched and written about by The Washington Post and Baltimore Magazine establish the creation of tiramisu by him on December 24, 1969, in Via Sottotreviso while he was head chef at Treviso, near Venice.
The original recipe called for the following ingredients: savoiardi biscuits, eggs, sugar, mascarpone, cocoa, honey, and club soda. In the original recipe, there was no liquor as the cake was originally aimed at children and the elderly, and the original shape was round. The phrase tirami su literally means "pick me up" or "pull me up" in reference to the effects of the sugar and espresso. It is also thought to mean "pick me up to heaven" due to the delightful taste.

My Favourite Game~ Ragnarok

Ragnarok Online, often referred to as RO, is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game or MMORPG. Based on the manhwa Ragnarok by Lee Myung-jin. It was first released in South Korea on 31 August 2001 for Microsoft Windows and has been released in many other local around the world. Much of the game's mythos is based on Norse mythology, but its style and settings have been influenced by a wide variety of international cultures. Player characters interact in a 3D environment but are represented by 2D character sprites for front, back, side and diagonal facings.
Ragnarok Online is divided into a series of maps, each of which has its own terrain and native monsters, though many monsters are present in multiple regions. Transportation between maps requires loading the new map and monsters cannot travel from one map to another.

Heat And Light From The Sun

The Sun is the star at the center of our solar system that includes Earth. It is 150 million kilometers from the Earth and it is the main source of heat and light energy.

During the day, sunlight provides heat and light, which are two types of energy. Life exists on Earth because the Sun provides just the right amount of energy. Planets that are closer to the Sun receive more energy and also too hot for life to exist. Planets that are too far are too cold to life in.

Energy is needed to do work and make things happen. Practically everything that happens on Earth depend on energy that originally came from the Sun. Plants depend on energy from sunlight for their growth, and pass on part of this energy to animals that consume them. Carnivorous animals gain their energy from the meat of other animals that eat plants. Also, coal, oil and natural gas are all formed from the remains of plants and animals that grew thanks to the energy from sunlight.

Heat from sunlight evaporates water from Earth ocean, warms the air and makes the winds blow. These winds carry heat and water vapour around the world and control its weather patterns.

Flowering Plants

Flowering plants or angiosperms, are the most successful of all the plants. Angiosperms reproduce using seeds that develop in the ovaries of their flowers.

Flowering plants, or angiosperms, are among the most successful group of organisms on Earth. Angiosperms include most of our garden plants, farm crops, and the flowers that are often grown for decoration. They range in size from tiny pond-weeds to large trees such as birches and oaks. The name angiosperm is Greek for 'enclosed seed'. The developing embryos of angiosperms are enclosed in special structures, called seeds, within the flower. After fertilization, the seeds are protected inside a fruit. Flowering plants therefore have a lower-risk survival strategy than other plant species, which probably account for their success.

Flowering plants believed to have evolved from a now extinct group of conifers that lived around 250 million years ago. This period is known as the Permian Period. As they evolved, flowering plants came to have a large influence on other living organisms. Many animal eat the plants or feasted on the nectar they produced. Other used plants for shelter. For animals, including humans, the world would be less rich without flower.

About Spider

Arachnids are almost all hunting animals, and they are armed with poison fangs and an armory of traps. Spider are among the most successful hunters in the animal world. Some spin silk webs to traps flying insects. Other chase their prey at speed or lurk prey into burrows waiting to pounce. Crab spiders live inside flowers and run sideways. Fisher and water spiders hunt close to or in the water.

All spider spin silk, even those that do not make webs. Spider paralyze their prey with poison fangs. Some kinds, such as the black widow spider, can give a painful bite, though it is seldom fatal to humans. Spiders can eat only liquid food, so they squirt digestive juices onto their victims, which turn them into a liquid and after that the spider will sucked up the juices.

What Is Coal?

Coal is an impure form of carbon that formed from the remains of prehistoric plants. Coal burns very easily, releasing large amounts of heat. Coal, like oil and gas, is a fossil fuel. While oil and gas formed from the remain of living organisms, coal formed from the remain of decaying plants from prehistoric forests. These remains were compressed and changed by the layers of rock above them.

There are three main type of coals, each containing a different amount of carbon, bituminous coal and lignite. Anthracite which is carbon are the most valuable form of coal because it contain 95% of carbon. Other like Bituminous coal and lignite only have 70% and 50% carbon in it. Most of the coal found in underground bands or seams.

Coal was the main fuel for the Industrial Revolution at the end of 18th century. It powered steam engines and was used for making iron and steel. Today, most coal is burned in power station to generate electricity. Coal-fired power station use filters and other devices to trap soot and other pollution formed when the coal are burns.

When coal is heated in a chamber called a retort, it release gas, oil and tar. The gas can be burned as fuel. The oil and tar contain chemicals that can be used for making products such as dyes, perfumes and artificial fibers. The solid that left behind in the retort is coke. It is used as a smokeless fuel and for making iron. This is what the Coal are.

Material And Tehnology

Ever since human started to take interest in the world around them, they have studied the appearance and feel the objects and materials that they encountered. Gradually, they experimented with materials to discover how they could be used. Along the way, much have been learned about the properties of the materials.

Modern studies of material use sensitive instruments, computer and other advanced technologies to measure and calculate the properties of materials in great detail. Materials scientists use this type of knowledge to develop new materials, and engineers use it to choose material that are suitable for the construction that they are on to like building, vehicle, machine and other.

Technology the creation and use of tools and machines to perform task and goes hand in hand with the development of materials. Technology is driven by the understanding of materials, and it helps to expand the range and improve the quality of available materials. Technology also help to create a new group of materials, including artificial polymers and plastics made from oil and composite materials that are consisting of several different materials bonded together to improve their properties.

Our Planet Earth

The ground beneath our feet seems to be the most solid and unchanging thing we know. It forms foundations for our cities and an environment in which we can live. Yet in reality our planet spin in axis and hurtling through hostile space,as it orbits the nuclear furnace of our Sun. It is an active, dynamic, living planet.

The rock-solid surface is not as solid as it appears. It is cracked like giant slabs of crazy paving. Earthquakes shake our cities and volcanoes erupt, giving clues to the fiery movements beneath the ground. From above, the planet is buffeted by radiation and particles streaming at it through space but in between is an atmosphere, and oceans with liquid water, and temperature which are just right for life.

Life has transformed Earth and earth continues to support life. Buried in the rocks are minerals, gems and also some precious type of metals. By using the energy from the Earth in the form of coal, oil, water and many more,we have transformed them into the artifacts of civilization, from books and buildings to cars and technology. We all depend on our mother planet Earth.

History of Anime

The history of anime begins at the start of the 20th century, when Japanese filmmakers experimented with the animation techniques that were being explored in the West. During the 1970s, anime developed further, separating itself from its Western roots, and developing unique genres such as mecha and its Super Robot sub-genre. Notable shows in this period include Lupin III and Mazinger Z. During this period several filmmakers became famous, especially Hayao Miyazaki and Mamoru Oshii.

In the 1980s, anime was accepted in the mainstream in Japan, and experienced a boom in production. The rise of Gundam, Macross, Real Robot and Space Opera set a boom as well. The film Akira set records in 1988 for the production costs of an anime film and went on to become a success worldwide. Later, in 2004, the same creators produced Steamboy, and later took over as the most expensive anime film. The Super Dimension Fortress Macross also became a worldwide success after being adapted as part of Robotech, and Megazone 23 also gained recognition in the West after it was adapted as Robotech: The Movie.

In the 1990s and 2000s, anime series such as Dragon Ball, Pokémon, and Sailor Moon as well as films like Ghost in the Shell became worldwide successes, while other anime series such as Gundam, Macross, Neon Genesis Evangelion and Cowboy Bebop were popular in Japan and attracted attention from the West. A number of animations have been produced in the West, and the growth of the internet also led to the rise of fansub anime. Spirited Away shared the first prize at the 2002 Berlin Film Festival and won the 2003 Academy Award for Best Animated Feature, while Innocence: Ghost in the Shell was featured at the 2004 Cannes Film Festival.
